What the audit checks
The crawler inspects accessible HTML within a bounded sample. Checks include title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2 headings, canonical tags, indexability signals, robots.txt, sitemap discovery, internal links and broken destinations where accessible.
Understand each issue
Each finding identifies the affected page, severity, observed reason and suggested action. Missing or duplicate metadata and basic content issues are reported only when observed in fetched pages.
Prioritize the next fix
Start with issues affecting access and indexability, then review headings, page descriptions and link destinations. Recheck your website after publishing changes. A sampled audit is not a complete crawl of every URL.
When to connect Search Console
The basic audit does not provide clicks, impressions, Google positions or keyword performance. Connect Search Console later for those insights, decay comparisons and growth opportunities.
