Compare like-for-like performance
The decay engine compares the latest eligible 28-day window with the preceding 28 days. Minimum-data thresholds reduce noise from sparse records, and findings retain baseline and comparison evidence.
Identify keyword opportunities
Review queries with sufficient impressions and average positions between 4 and 20. Low click-through rate is considered only when the available comparison data supports that conclusion.
Read the score in context
Opportunity and decay scores prioritize investigation. They are not traffic forecasts. Read actual clicks, impressions, CTR and position alongside the reason for each finding.
Act with your content team
Recommendations can involve title and description changes, headings, content sections or internal linking. Creating a new page is a recommendation only when the topic is relevant and an appropriate page is missing. Review drafts before publishing.
Your Google connection
Each workspace connects its own authorized Google account. Website access depends on the properties available to that account. The tool reads Search Console data and does not edit it.
